On 9th November, the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering held a youth innovation and entrepreneurship salon in the conference room of 301 Practice Building. The activity was hosted by Jiang Chunxiang, the deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of the college, and Qin Jiepao, Ni Wenbin, Lu Yujing, the excellent representatives of innovation and entrepreneurship of the College of Physics and Electricity, and more than 20 students attended the salon.
First of all, Mr. Jiang introduced the successful cases of innovation and entrepreneurship of domestic college students and explained the basic knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship in detail, and hoped that the students would always keep the enthusiasm of innovation and entrepreneurship, pay more attention to the process, explore the methods in practice, exercise their wills, grow their talents, cultivate the spirit of cooperation and dual innovation, and create a valuable life experience for themselves.
After that, Mr. Qin Jiebao told the students what he thought, thought and gained from his experience in the "Winning in JiangDa-Internet+" competition for many years, and encouraged them to grasp the opportunity, use the campus platform well, and exercise themselves and improve their abilities in the competition. Ni Wenbin shared with his younger siblings his journey of participating in innovative competitions over the past three years in the university, taking into account his participation in the National University Student Computer Design Competition.
Lu Yujing, the second prize winner of the main competition of the "Challenge Cup" National Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition for University Students, shared her seven years of scientific research and innovation, saying that there is no shortcut to scientific research and innovation, which is destined to be tough and challenging. She encouraged the students to be courageous, to keep the righteousness and innovation, to aim at the high point of future technology and industrial development, and to enthusiastically participate in innovation-driven development.
Lastly, Mr. Jiang pointed out that this innovation and entrepreneurship salon aims to cultivate and mobilize students' active innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, encourage them to actively participate in internship and social practice activities in school enterprises, develop their vision, grow their entrepreneurial practice ability, and achieve their innovation and entrepreneurial dreams.
